BSCU- Bank Station Capacity Upgrade
About project: The project involves splitting the Northern line as it currently runs through the Bank area, put the south bound trains into 600m of new tunnel to the west of the existing station. The upgrade will also create a new interchange with extra passageways to improve passenger flow. In addition there will be 12 new escalators, new entry and exit points on Cannon Street, two new lifts and refurbishment of an existing one and step-free access onto platforms.
Scope of works: Working for Vision Survey as a member of two-man team I have been instructed to undertake measured building survey of block of basements between King William Street and Cannon Street. From on-site collected data floor plans, cross sections and 3 dimensional model has been created to supply sufficient data to design team.
