About project: Works included refurbishment of Ashdown House main entrance lift lobby and welfare, servicing the ID Centre and the new Thomas Cook Crew Reporting suite, modifications to the baggage reclaim hall for domestic arrivals, creation of a new coach drop-off area, development of new reporting facilities for airline crews and UK Border Force staff, including new Smart Check-in Lanes and the extensive refurbishment and extension of the Atlantic House office building for the provision of dedicated crew check-in and briefing facilities.
Scope of works: Working for Vision Survey as a member of two-man team I have been responsible for establish primary and secondary control, topographical and building (floors and elevations) surveys, setting out activities ( steel frame, gridlines, whitelining), marking on site datums, creating CAD two and three dimensional drawings (consistent with Gatwick Airport standards), as built survyes, issued for construction drawings checks and quality assurance.
